How Purchasing Works
- We will look at items from 9:30 to 5 weekdays and noon to 3:30 Saturdays, no appointment is needed and usually we can look at items right away, on occasion it will take longer in which case we will take a phone number and call you when we are done if you do not want to wait or have too much stuff for us to look through in a timely manner. .
- Items must be in good condition and have all the original pieces with batteries included so we can assure they work.
- We base the price off of what we will sell the item for combined with how clean it is.
- Clothes need to be clean and folded in a box, laundry basket or tote, something other than a plastic bag and outfits need to be paired together. We buy seasonally, starting with spring and summer items in mid to late January and fall and winter items late July, early August. We normally only purchase infant and toddler clothes for store credit as we get in a lot and want to buy from our customers first.
- Equipment needs to be clean and have all original parts with no major signs of wear. We will take a look at items that are not perfect but the price we pay will be lower.
- We will take car seats as long as they have not been in any accidents and have at least a full year before they expire. Expiration dates can be found on the back or bottom of the car seat.
- You will be offered either store credit or cash for some items, if you do not use your credit we will provide you with a slip but we do not keep track of credit in store so please keep track of your store credit slip.
Layaway, Rentals and Baby Registries
We are unique to the area in that we provide our customers with 90 days hassle free layaway.
You pick out the item that you want, put 20% down and make payments over the next 90 days on your terms, the only stipulation being that we have to see something in addition to the 20% within 45 days of the initial payment and the item must be paid in full by the 90 day mark. We store the item for you until it's paid off. If you cancel you will forfeit the down payment but will be refunded anything paid in addition.
We will rent any equipment in the store, you pick out an item, pay for it in full and then we will give you half of the purchase price back when you bring it back clean. You must let us know at the time of purchase you would like to do rent it and we will give you the time you need to get it back. If you change your mind and decide to keep it, it's already paid for so you are free to do so.
If you have a baby shower coming up you can come in and pick out the items you would like, we will put them in the back for you and send you with some business cards for your invitations. People can come in and either pay on your items or select from the items you have picked out and take them to the shower. Buying used items can help you get everything that you want on your list rather than having to pick and choose!
